What is included in my Get Coloured personal colour analysis?

Your personal colour analysis includes:

  • Individual color assessment, identifying undertone, overtone, dynamics, and more.

  • Color draping.

  • Power Palette identification and building.

  • Color theory lesson.

  • Take-home Power Palette.

  • Basic cosmetics (hair and makeup) review if you bring your cosmetics to the appointment.

Will I learn what color season I am in during my session?

Yes, at your appointment we will identify your Power Palette, which includes identifying your home season or flow.

Will I fit into a traditional seasonal palette?

We will evaluate your power palette based on a system developed utilizing the science of the Munsell Color wheel, which is how the eye perceives color. This system is comprehensive and accounts for neutral undertones, which the traditional 4 season approach does not. For this reason, you could fall into what is known as a "Flow" in between 2 seasons.

I have been analyzed before, does it change?

If your original analysis was correctly done after the age of 16, it should not change. If you have done a virtual or AI analysis, we highly recommend an in-person analysis. If you don't feel like your original analysis was correct, we encourage you to reach out and schedule a Colour Couture analysis.


Can I bring another person to my appointment?

Yes, please reach out prior to your appointment to make sure there is space at the studio for those you are looking to bring to your appointment. Anyone receiving a color analysis will need an appointment. If you would like to consider a group appointment or party, please reach out to summer@colouredcouture.com for a custom quote.

Does it matter if I am using tanning products?

No, we analyze based on the skin's undertone, which is unaffected by tan.

Can I come to the appointment wearing makeup?

It’s best for your analysis to be done without makeup, however we do have makeup wipes in studio if needed so come how you are most comfortable.

Do I have to prepay for the appointment?

Yes, a $50 deposit is required for booking and goes towards the total cost of your appointment.
